Formulator – Nutraceuticals

Job Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Summary:

Willings Nutraceutical is a leading manufacturer of high-quality dietary supplements and natural health products. We are currently seeking an experienced Formulator with a background in Nutraceuticals to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Pharmacy or Food Sciences and experience in developing innovative and effective formulations for dietary supplements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and formulate dietary supplements and natural health products that meet customer requirements and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure proper in-process documentation – (Production Batch Record).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, purchasing and production to ensure timely completion of POs.
  • Conduct stability and compatibility testing to ensure product quality and shelf life.
  • Review and analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify new product opportunities and improve existing products.
  • Maintain accurate records of all formulation activities, including raw materials, equipment, and procedures.
  • Oversee ingredients purchasing. Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to dietary supplements and natural health products.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Food Sciences, or related field

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Nutraceutical formulation
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control standards related to dietary supplements and natural health products.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
